Dr. Jerry Minick’s passion for orthodontics began when his Orthodontist changed his life by creating a beautiful new smile. Dr. Minick enjoys the excitement of strategically blending art and science together to make the same difference in the lives of each and every patient. Dr. Minick earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry in 1998, graduating near the top of his class. After practicing general dentistry for six years he earned his Orthodontic Specialty Certification from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. A Masters degree in Oral Biology and experience teaching part-time at the University of Nebraska College of Dentistry and the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center Department of Orthodontics add to Dr. Minick’s thorough understanding of oral and dental health.

When he is not with patients, Dr. Minick enjoys hiking, skiing, sports and playing the guitar at his church.  He also enjoys spending time with his wife of 13 years, Shannon, and his two cats Marty and Tori.
