New Patients

As a potential new orthodontic patient, I’m sure you have a lot of questions. Do I or my children need orthodontic care? If so, what type? How much will treatment cost? How long will it take?

At Minick Orthodontics, we care about you and your family and will do our best to answer all of your questions during your first couple of visits to our office. Following is a description of what you can expect during your first two appointments

First Visit

Your first appointment is always complimentary. The purpose of your first visit is to meet Dr. Minick, determine if and/or what treatment is needed, and answer any questions you may have. This appointment will last approximately 45-60 minutes and will include:

We will take the time during this initial visit and during following appointments to ensure that we understand your unique orthodontic needs, answer all of your questions, and carry out your treatment in a thorough and timely fashion.

Records Appointment

After your first visit, the next step to starting treatment with Minick Orthodontics is to schedule a records appointment, which consists of taking additional digital diagnostic X-rays and models of your teeth. Dr. Minick will then determine the full extent of your orthodontic needs, review treatment options and finalize your treatment plan. Our staff will also assist you with financial arrangements and filing out your insurance claims if applicable.

We know your time is valuable, so if you prefer to have your initial examination and your records appointment at the same time, please let us know when you call to schedule your appointment. Records typically take an additional 20 minutes.
